Marine Atlantic requests the cooperation of all passengers to ensure a safe and pleasant journey for all. Disorderly conduct of abusive behaviour towards our employees or other passengers will not be tolerated.
Examples of disruptive behaviour include:
• Disregard for safety regulations
• Aggressive or abusive behaviour
• Intimidating or uncooperative behaviour
• Disregard for smoking regulations
• Sleeping on the floor
• Harassment
• Not following direction of our employees
• Verbal or physical abuse
Our staff has been trained to identify and deal with disruptive and unruly behaviour. They have the authority to deny passage to any individual exhibiting unruly or inappropriate behaviour. Failure to comply with Marine Atlantic regulations, may result in denial of future passage and/or prosecution.
