Modifications / Cancellations / Refunds

Within 48 hours of scheduled departure time, customers requesting a change to their sailing date or time; as well as any change which removes vehicle, passenger(s) or accommodations from the booking, will be subject to a $25.00 modification fee.

Within 48 hours of scheduled departure time, customers requesting to cancel their reservations will be subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.

The value of unused ferry tickets will, in most cases, be refunded at any ticketing location within 24 hours of purchase, in accordance with Marine Atlantic's cancellation policy above. Marine Atlantic will not refund, under any circumstances, tickets that are reported lost, stolen or destroyed.
