Customers travelling with passenger related vehicles as well as customers travelling without a vehicle:
Marine Atlantic wishes to advise its customers that a reservation is required to travel on Marine Atlantic’s vessels.
A customer may purchase a ticket by calling the toll free reservations line at 1-800-341-7981. A customer may also make a reservation at one of the Marine Atlantic’s terminals located in Port aux Basques or Argentia, N.L. or North Sydney, N.S. up to 3 hours prior to scheduled departure time provided there is space available.
A customer arriving at the terminal without a reservation will be required to purchase a ticket for the next available ferry crossing.
Please note:
To gain access to the Marine Atlantic loading area, a customer must have a reservation for one of the next 2 sailings and have completed the check-in process.
Customers requesting a change to their sailing time will be subject to a $25.00 change fee.
Customers travelling with a commercial related vehicle:
Marine Atlantic wishes to advise its customers travelling with a commercial related vehicle or commodity, that transportation is provided based upon the order in which you arrive at the terminal. Upon presentation at the ticket booth, a commercial customer will be placed on the open booking list and will travel on the next available departure. The Corporation currently only books “premium” advance reservations for commercial related vehicles.
