Behavioral Descriptive Interviewing
Behavioral descriptive interviewing is a style of interview being used by recruiters to assist in the assessment of a candidate's suitability for a position. The premise is that the most accurate predictor of future performance is past performance in similar situations. Research indicates that this method provides objective facts on which to base employment decisions. The process is probing and attempts to pinpoint certain behaviors that are reflective of the capabilities required for the position at Marine Atlantic.
