Marine Atlantic Inc has the following vacancy at its Terminals available commencing the summer of 2010.

Citizenship:

Canadian Citizenship or legally permitted to work in Canada.

Language proficiency:

English spoken and written

Education:

High School or GED

Experience:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, Good physical stamina & demonstrated ability to perform the physical requirements of the position. Must be able to deal with the general public in a professional manner displaying good customer service skills and a positive attitude. Candidates should live within commuting distance from the terminal.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of policies and government regulations concerning safety, security, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, WHMIS etc., possession of a Forklift Certificate, flagman’s Certificate, air brakes endorsement and a valid Class 1 Driver’s License will be considered assets.
