ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Master Near Coastal
Valid Master Near Coastal STCW 95 Certificate
Radio Operator Certificate (GMDSS)
Transport Canada Approved Medical Examination
All certificates must be valid

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a recognized Marine school diploma program.
Knowledge of the Canadian regulations including Labour Code part II and MOSH regulations.
Knowledge of International Regulations including ISM and ISPS
Knowledge of planned maintenance systems
Experience on passenger vessels
Experience on large commercial vessels on international voyages
