Proudly introducing… the MV Atlantic Vision !
To name the newest addition to our fleet, this spring Marine Atlantic held the ‘What’s her Name’ Contest for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 across Newfoundland and Labrador and Cape Breton, Nova Scotia - and we have our winner! Danielle Locke from Little Bay Islands, Newfoundland and Labrador thought of the inspired name of the Atlantic Vision, and we’re proud and excited to have it join our fleet!
The MV Atlantic Vision will make a splash this fall as it’s our largest vessel yet! Danielle chose the name Atlantic Vision because this ship symbolizes the future of our provinces and represents a new wave of technology and advancements to our ferry service. This ship will provide a great link for both provinces and will be integral for tourism, communications, transportation and industry - it truly is our vision for the future. For this great name, Danielle wins a trip on the premiere voyage of the MV Atlantic Vision, plus a $1,000 cash prize for herself and one for her school! Congratulations Danielle!
